Codexis announced an agreement with a pioneering siRNA drug innovator to use its ECO Synthesis Manufacturing Platform to produce stereo-defined oligonucleotide fragments enzymatically for assembly into duplex siRNA. The collaboration will compare enzymatically synthesized fragments to conventional solid-phase oligonucleotide synthesis across purity, product quality, and ligation performance to inform potential future clinical development.
