Viking Therapeutics Announces Initiation of VK2735 Oral Maintenance Dosing Clinical Trial in Patients with Obesity
Viking Therapeutics initiated Part 2 of a two-part maintenance study of VK2735 to explore oral and additional subcutaneous maintenance regimens following an initial 21-week induction with weekly subcutaneous dosing. The randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study will enroll approximately 195 adults with obesity and assess safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and exploratory weight-change endpoints through Week 33.
